Tentative Public Beta release for Shred 1.5x July 24 2010

Fantastic! Man, I'm waiting for Saturday to finally hear this beast in action! And I think it is wise to test it like this, even without the presets. After all, this is tweaker's dream ampsim. :) BTW I assume you've been testing it with Reaper? I hope things go smooth with Windows 32-bit version.

Yep been testing all through the development with Reaper. We were getting some great numbers for CPU Usage too. Like 13.5% on our development system... KM

was just comparing it to the 1.06.. wow.. what an improvement... and I already loved the 1.06 :-). 1 weird note that I'm not sure if you are aware of. When my interface is set to 44.1khz/24bit the output of the modeler will sound 1 way and when its set to 48khz/24bit it sounds drastically another way.. 48khz has A LOT more hi-end/presence(more then i want). i haven't listened to the 48khz track AFTER bouncing down to 44.1 16 to see if it sounds the same as the 44.1khz session yet though. Anything i'm missing?
