Reaper presonus Firebox work great but now no audio on anything else.

First of hey how's it going? I'm sure it's a noob question. There has to be some setting that allows me to shut off Reaper from using my Firebox right? Basically I got the Firebox to work with my new Vista loaded system and it sounds awesome with my Axe-Fx direct but now Windows Media and any other audio software produces no sound. I tried the search function for about a 1/2 hour on here but I'm tired of looking for an answer. Thanks in advance for any help.
