Record Macros

Wouldn't it be nice if when you need to make a macro you could record the actions rather than have to build one from scratch? It would be a lot easier and quicker than searching for the actions you need to build one, and hopefully reduce the chances of making macros that don't work, I would think.

Any news on this? I hate building a new macro and going through all those options (but they are nice to have!)
