Possible custom revision to DVD2AVI?

Regardless, I think there must be a viable solution to this problem and someone must have an answer. It's unfortunate that almost any title can be completed perfectly without the use of "one click" tools, yet a select few can not. I ran into one myself just last night and was unhappy when I relized that the title couldn't be backed up flawlessly. Surely someone has some insight on this matter and could work towards a viable solution.

Sorry, but I just don't think it is valid to start an MPEG-2 sequence with a P (predicted) frame. But I do not pretend to understand seemless branching. - Tom
