2.66 hangs on start up

CCE 2.66 now hangs on start up (W2K). It appears on the task bar, but will not open up. I try uninstalling-reinstalling, no help. I also went through the registry and deleted anything with CCE. Still no help. Does it save something in \system32 ?? The task bar icon ends with "- no name". Is it hanging because it's trying to open something. Are there start up switches I can use? I'm stuck. Anyone have any ideas?? Thanks in advance

The same thing happened to me. It seemed that the window shrank itself to a size of zero. So try this: Right click on CCE in the taskbar and choose "Size". Then with you keyboard press "down arrow" then "right arrow". Then hold down the "down arrow" for a few seconds and then do the same with the "right arrow". That should make the window appear. --David

found the fix. right click the startup icon, properties, select start maximizied. weird.
