Call up any synthesizer ensemble, play midi keyboard or VKB - no sound. To rule out that I'm idiot: 1) Midi activity monitor shows midi messages both in TCP and in Reaktor. 2) Manually drawn notes fed into Reaktor 5.5 trigger synths all right. 3) I've never had this problem with Reaktor 5.1 4) In Ableton everything is ok Does anyone have the same problem? or am I an idiot beyond my belief?

exactly, that's what i did - it does. however i need to turn off reaktor in order for the next vsti to make sound. somehow realtime midi messages seem to be stuck in 5.5. for me
yep, it's factory defaults, all routed proper. why would it sound when using midi editor and not sounding when played realtime? i mean there REALLY IS midi activity blinking in reaktor, i couldn't mess it up. it's driving me bonkers.
I would just check all possible MIDI options. Like, MIDI in to "self" etc. I haven't switched to 5.5 yet, but in 5.1, sometimes have to use those dropdown menus near the top to set MIDI and Audio outs.
