Drum editing in reaper is painful but doable. It works best if you do it manually using group tracks, tab to transient, split and quantize audio. Dynamic split is never accurate enough IMO and ends up costing you more time than just splitting the tracks manually. PLEASE give us Protools style drum editing! It must be REALLY difficult to do this because none of the other Daws seem to have implemented this to Protools standards. Sonar has something close and the new Logic 9 looks like they may have finally given protools a run for the money but Reaper is definitely still lacking.
YEAH ! I don't care about the part where he moves the transients without cutting - but the GROUPING part itself is just perfect ! One checkbox with "edit", that's it !
