850 2.5 20V vs 850 T5

Bit of a weird one I know. I currently own an 850 2.5 20V saloon, and am wondering how it would compare next to an 850 T5 in terms of real world performance. I also own an S40 T4, but prefer the 850 because it is much smoother. I know on paper there is a huge difference, but when I drive the 850 it doent feel much slower, just a bit more blunt. I was wondering if anyone has ever driven both the 2.5 and T5 and knows whether it would be worth upgrading to a T5. (Sorry If im asking for the obvious). Thankyou! Rob

I guess it would depend if you get chance to actually use the extra power or if it would be wasted in the general traffic grind.

My 2.5l 10v is perfect for round town and as a load lugger, but v quickly gets up to motorway speeds. The 0-60 is quoted about 10.5s, the T5 is about 7s? I would go more for condition than engine, unless you're really into tuning an dmessing or you go on autobahns etc
